ATTENDANCE

  • Students must come to School regularly. No leave of absence will be granted to students except on previous written application from the parent and that too for a serious reason. All applications for leave should be addressed to the Headmistress.
  • Every student must attend class on the re-opening and closing day of each of the vacations.
  • Absentees from School due to illness or any other legitimate reason should be informed to the Headmistress on time and on their return produce the Absence Record duly signed by their Parents or Guardians explaining the reason for their absence and get it countersigned by the Headmistress in order to be admitted into the class.
  • In case when illness is likely to keep a student away from School for more than a week, a letter supported by a Medical Certificate must be sent to the Headmistress as soon as possible.
  • Students must not leave the School premises during School hours without the permission of the Headmistress.
  • The minimum attendance required for promotion at the end of the year is 75 percent of the total number of working days in the school year.
  • Parents should see that their children attend school punctually and regularly.

CONDUCT & DISCIPLINE

  • The students should come to school punctually and regularly in clean and full uniform.
  • The children shall be respectful to their teachers, helpful and kind to their companions.
  • No child shall leave the class room without the teacher's permission.
  • Buying and selling, collecting money, subscription for papers magazines etc., is not allowed without the approval of the authorities.
  • Letters to students addressed to the School are subject to scrutiny by the school authorities.
  • Strict silence must be observed from the first assembly bell till students reach the class after the assembly and change of periods.
  • Pupils suffering from fever, vomiting and aches of any kind will not come to school even on Unit Test days, until they are completely recovered.
  • Pupils will not be permitted to go home after the Unit Test in order to attend a marriage, a function or for any other reason. If their presence is so needed in the family, let them not attend school that day.
  • Student should keep the school premises clean and pleasant. Waste paper, fruit skins and seeds must be thrown in the baskets and bins provided for the purpose.
  • Students will have to make good the damage done to school property or to property belonging to other students.

SCHOOL LIBRARY

The School library is furnished with all sorts of books for teachers and students.

  • A fine will be levied for any ill usage of books or their late return.
  • Books lost must be paid for.

PARENT-TEACHER MEETINGS

On the second Saturday of every month the class teachers are available to parents to enquire about the progress of their children. On other days they may be contacted before or after class hours.

Parents are allowed to go to the classes only on the second Saturdays of the month between 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

DISCIPLINARY AUTHORITY

The School authorities may frame and issue from time to time disciplinary rules of a permanent or temporary character within or without the school precincts, as far as such rules are necessary to maintain the credit and reputation of the school.
